The Program
What is Race to Revenue (R2R)?
Race to Revenue is an 8-week Replit program where everyday builders launch products live on camera, competing for $25,000 and the title of champion. It's designed to help solo builders reach their first revenue milestones.
How long is the program?
8 weeks.
Does Replit take equity?
No. Zero equity taken.
What happens if I can't attend the full duration of the program?
We encourage you to apply to a cohort that fits your schedule and allows you to participate for the full 8 weeks. Full participation every week is required, and founders who miss more than one week will be dropped from the program.
What is the $25K prize?
A $25,000 cash prize is awarded to the winner at the Final Showcase.
What does the Final Showcase look like?
The showcase is a 2-day capstone event in San Francisco. Builders pitch in front of investors, operators, mentors, and ecosystem partners. Each pitch is 5 minutes max + open Q&A, no slide decks (visuals like videos and scrollable demos are welcome). An award ceremony follows the pitches.
Who are the mentors?
The pilot cohort mentor roster included Eric Windsor, Richard Denton, Sunny Patneedi, Mark Mathson, Viktor Margeirsson, and Rafael Guerreiro. Mentors are engaged throughout the sprint, not just at the showcase. See the Mentors page for more information.
Will I be filmed?
Yes. R2R is also a documentary series. Filming takes place throughout the program and at both showcase days.

Applying
Who should apply?
R2R is for solo builders and early-stage founders with an idea they want to take to first revenue. The program values passion over polish. The founders who thrive are the ones who care intensely about the problem they're solving.
What does the application ask for?
The application covers:
- Basic info (name, email, location, team size)
- What you're building and who is your ICP
- Traction signal (have you charged anyone yet?)
- Whether you're building on Replit
- Availability for 6 weeks + ability to come to San Francisco
- A 2-minute video explaining what you're building and why you're the one to build it
Do I need revenue already to apply?
Nope! The application asks whether you've charged anyone yet, but no is an acceptable answer. You just need a clear path to your first dollar.
Is it in-person or remote?
The program is remote, but participants are expected to travel to San Francisco for the final showcase. Transport (Uber vouchers) is covered for showcase events.
Can I apply from outside the US?
Yes, the pilot cohort spanned 4 continents and ~21 founders from diverse geographies. Note: international participants should be prepared for travel logistics to the SF showcase.
